Founder & Director

Tom O'Cuinneagáin

Tom has spent nearly a decade recruiting exclusively in quantitative and systematic finance, placing researchers, traders and portfolio managers with hedge funds, multi-strategy platforms and prop trading firms across London, New York, Asia and the Middle East. Before founding Qenexus he was at Two Boutique Search Firms, where he built a track record across high- and mid-frequency trading, volatility and execution mandates.

He founded Qenexus on a quality-over-volume model: a small client base, deep market mapping, and shortlists that convert.

Associate Director

Laura Young

Laura joined Qenexus in 2026 having previously worked with Tom at their previous firm. She has 10+ years of experience in executive search across equities, commodities, fixed income and volatility trading.
